Bay Area spitters Trey C and Playa Rae are prepping a new EP entitled “I.L.A.M. (Independent Like A M#Fuka)” for September 6th, a celebration of being indepenent in the music industry.
Playa Rae has been active in the South Bay scene for over a decade, making his mark on the underground, while Trey C has been grinding his way up in the past few years, you probably remember his radio smash “Showboatin’ (ft. G. Malone, Ya Boy & Matt Blaque)” from 2008.
The new EP is a testimony to the two artists’ relentless grind and they just dropped an impressive video to their single “Numbers“, I urge all of you to give it a listen:

Clean raps and banging beats make “I.L.A.M.” a project to watch out for. I already know a lot of you are going to sleep on it, but those who don’t won’t be dissapointed.
