Today we are back as Kenny KingPin – who has been serving a 26 month sentence in the Federal Penitentiary – is back on the scene ready to unleash “Rubberband Ready Radio” which is executively produced by Houstonﾒs finest Scarface and hosted by East Coast Favorite DJ Whoo Kid.
The release features a healthy list of upcoming artists from his area as well as Cash Money’s G-Malone and Smoke-A-Lot CEO Yukmouth.

When DJ Whoo Kid was asked about the project he stated; “As a DJ Iﾒm not mad at what I see coming out of the left coast but what I hear from my man Kenny Kingpin I can vouch for and say my audience is gonna feel his truth and subscribe to that sound heﾒs got, they know when itﾒs real.”
Combining that funk-soul of Mr. Curtis Mayfield with classic west coast ride-or-die vibe is the best reverberating description and musical announcement of “Rubberband Ready Radio.” Just a few months ago, Kenny Kingpin released the first single from this mixtape, “Let The Street’s Tell It,” where he pays homage to a long list of street legends such as Freeway Ricky Ross, Big U, BMF, HarryO all to be witnessed in the video – which you can watch below.
