Los Angeles own Papa & Jacob Harrel – formerly of the 5 piece Brutha – were signed to Def Jam Records in 2008 after being seen by Jermaine Dupri. After a TV show and debut album the group disbanded and the two brothers left became Jake&Papa.

Regular visitors will have seen the duo appear in the Who, What, Where video which was released last week, a track from Dubb’s The Departure project.

Today we are back with news and music from Jake&Papa who are set to release their new album “Somethin’ Soulful” in January and the duo have linked up with Dubb once again – this time as Co-Writer – and The Futuristiks on production for the soulful “My Baby” – check it below!
