Hard to believe its been months since Kendrick Lamar dropped his new single, “i” – the Isley Brothers sampled Rahki production that caught us all unawares in September 2014.
The track was linked to word that the follow-up to his “Good Kid Maad City” was closer than many thought but since word has subsided – until today!
Last night Lamar won a pair of grammys tonight for “i” – Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance – and there was much buzz as to why he wasn’t there to accept them; perhaps he was just getting ready to drop this new single!
