Kendrick Lamar has dropped his new music video for “For Free? (Interlude)” and it’s a unique visual!
The jazz infused cut that sees Kendrick flow wildly has been turned unto a video by Joe Weil & The Little Homies. After the spoken word into from the track a maniacal K.Dot appears with his face pressed to a window before chasing the woman around rapping “This dick ain’t free!”
Think slapstick, comedy with a whole host of imagery and through provoking messages throughout – racial undertones, Uncle Sam and more – finished off with a spot the Kendrick(s) moment where a plethora (we count 12) of K.Dots in an array of situations – drinking champagne, playing croquet, reading a book, trimming a hedge as well as one in a minivan that harks to the good kid, m.A.A.d. city deluxe cover!
Another dope visual from the album to follow King Kunta, Alright and “i.”
