Having first heard him off of his 2010 entertaining endeavor Rolling Papers, then to be later accompanied by Under The Influence in 2011, and eventually more work on Odd Future’s The OF Tape Vol.2, and the fully Alchemist produced project entitled No Idols in 2012, it as been more than a hiatus for the lone Wolf Gang wordsmith since his last musical release. Keeping his career afloat & sailing smoothly with his on radio show on DJ Skee’s Dash Radio as DJ Body Oil, along with a wide array of guest appearances on with records with Action Bronson, Smoke DZA, Freddie Gibbs, Mac Miller, Rapsody, Flatbush Zombies & many more, as well as numerous shows/festivals, Domo Genesis returns with his lead single “Dapper” featuring the eclectically energizing Anderson Paak. Off his upcoming solo debut album properly entitled Genesis, the up beat and pulsating jam blends the rhythmically ricocheting Paak with the cool, calm, and collected Domo, providing a new musical lens for which to study the emcee’s evolvement. As fresh and clean as Outkast rocking with Sleepy Brown, these two pair up to give the west coast and entire hip-hop community a record that’ll have to be spun back to back, and raise the bar on today’s artistry.
