It’s been too long since Bay Area representer and DubCNN alumni Prophet dropped off new music!
Having first appeared on DubCNN in 2002 he has an arsenal of material which you can check in our extensive archives. I was stunned to see on the solo tip it was 2011 when we last dropped music with the release of his #darkroom mixtape project alongside frequent collaborator Deep H2oz featuring artists including Six Reasons and the single My Life with Layne Tadesse, for which there was also a music video.
The last new music was his track City Lights and it’s music video video [City Lights] before in 2012 he collabroated again with Six Reasons for the “I Need A Cape” video.
Now he has returned with a Trackheads produced new single and video titled “Peso.” This serves as the lead single from his “Carpe Diem EP” and when we asked Prophet about the new record and what fans can expect he told us;
“[I’m] going back to the original vibes that rooted me in this game”
