Buzzing Los Angeles producer-turned-recording artist JoogSzn delivers a jam-packed all-star project for his debut, properly titled, Where’s Joog, out now via HitMob. The project title refers to the new artist’s 2016 unexpected arrest by the feds. For his formal introduction, Joog drops 20 new songs that features a who’s who of West Coast superstars. And with the star-studded guest list, Joog becomes a solo artist as he raps for the first time after staying behind the boards since the beginning of his music career.

“The concept of the album is a regular day in LA. There’s a lot goin on,” JoogSzn shares. “There’s a lot to get into and if you listen in order it could be a short film soundtrack. Rappin’ on the project felt a lot like rapping on thank you for using gtl. I recorded myself and wrote about things I’ve seen. It kinda made me want to take rapping more seriously.”

The debut’s guest list includes Gunna, Drakeo The Ruler, Mozzy, E-40, ALLBLACK, Sauce Walka, RJMrLA, Earl Sweatshirt, Rucci, 03 Greedo, Ralfy The Plug and so many more. The debut album follows Joog’s collaboration project with Drakeo The Ruler, Thank You For Using GTL (2020).

Before the debut, JoogSzn built a buzz as the go-to producer for big-name stars like the late-Drakeo The Ruler, 03 Greedo, Shoreline Mafia, Problem, and KYLE. Joog first saw fame in 2018 with the breakout Drakeo and 03 Greedo collaboration “Ion Rap Beef.” And with his rise, JoogSzn culinated a signature sound with a lot of the new school West Coast acts like Conradfrmdaaves, Vintage and Adventurous, Ralfy Tha Plug, OHGEESY, and Airplane James.

Where’s Joog prepares the fast-rising star as he plans to turn thing up to the maximum with more new music and an anticipated follow-up album, expected in 2023. JoogSzn’s debut album is the perfect origin point for newfound fans. Joog reveals: “I’ll be dropping more videos from the tape, more singles and I’ll be rapping more. There will be more collabs from HitMob, my production squad and bigger placements.”
