Los Angeles emcee and producer, Sccit, has teamed up with Hawaiian emcee, Rory Redmon, to release a brand new single together with Los Angeles producer, Siavash The Grouch, titled “Bumpy Johnson.”

The single, guided by a hypnotic, bass heavy production is laced with introspective rapid fire flows that takes you on a journey from California to Wahiawa.

Fresh off producing west coast legend RBX’s comeback album, Hibernation Shivers, Sccit and Siavash chimed in on the joint. “Once I heard the chorus that Rory laced, the flows just poured out my soul and I knew instantly that we had a classic on our hands,” said Sccit. Siavash added, “So far west we ended up in Hawaii.. a California Hawaii blend. Good island energy here. Smoke you one.” Rory broke down the songs title stating, “Bumpy Johnson was a legend in his neighborhood and even though he did what he had to in a life of crime, he always took care of his people. I always said when I made it I’d do a lot of work for my community and my people. Naming this song in tribute to the late Bumpy Johnson was rather fitting.”

Sccit and Rory are both in the midst of working on their own albums; Sccit preparing his solo debut, Maimonides, as Rory Redmon readies his latest effort, Tabernacle.
