West Coast rap legend Ras Kass released his first solo album in five years on February 13, 2026. The album, called Leopard Eats Face, came out through Soulspazm and HillTop Ave. Ras Kass is known for his sharp and powerful lyrics, and this album is no different.
One special song on the album is “Where The Fu Schnickens @?” This track was produced by Chukk James and features Chip Fu from the famous group Fu-Schnickens. The song is a tribute to Black music and culture, and its music video, directed by Gifted Glitch, premiered on June 29, 2026, on AllHipHop. You can watch it on YouTube by clicking here.
The album also includes guest appearances from artists across different generations, like Ab-Soul, Inspectah Deck, Coast Contra, and Onyx. Some singles to listen for are “42” with Smif-N-Wessun, “Scar Tissue” with Treach from Naughty By Nature and Wais P, and “Miss Me Yet?” with Timothy Bloom. There is also a bonus track called “Mapongo Lions”, which was featured in Dave Chappelle’s latest Netflix special, The Unstoppable.
