Three updates and three interviews in a row, that’s how we do things at dubcnn. Today we are proud to present an interview with Scoobs of the LA collective, Custom Made. With the release of their “Sidewalk Mindtalk” mixtape on their new label BabyGrande imminent for release [September 19th 2006] we take time to talk to Scoobs and get some background on the group for those that are new listeners.
We also discuss the previous projects, how the group functions and records, signing the deal with BabyGrande and why it was a more attractive proposition than Def Jam. We analyse the L.A. underground scene and how the group has evolved over the years it has been together.
