How can this be taken serious ?Pac was active from 91-96, in case u can't count.. that's FIVE years. And Cube has been active since 86... 21 years..
This is not far fetched. But no one would ever be able to truely prove it. Pac fans are way too into him to admit any fault. I can honestly say that Pac didn't influence rappers like Cube did, when he was alive. Pac became much more popular once he died. Cube's influence started when Straight Outta Compton dropped. Cube influenced all of a Pac's swag. From "Hardcore" Gangsta to Socially Conscious Emcee, Cube did that. Cube is a great writer, period. He's fell off now, but let's compare 5 years of their career.Straight Outta Compton (88), AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted (90), Kill At Will (90), Death Certificate (91), Predator (92), Lethal Injection (93)2Pacalypse Now (91), Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. (93), Thug Life (94), Me Against The World (95), All Eyez On Me (96), Makaveli (96)No doubt in my mind Cube's records were much more solid. He has some duds in his catalog now (Terrorist Threats, War & Peace), but that's inevitable after 20 years in the game. Throw in Bow Down and Bootlegs and B-Sides just as icing on the cake. If Cube would've died after Bow Down he would've been looked at just like Pac, I honestly believe that. Since Pac died, it's cool to be a Pac fan. It's cool to be influenced by Pac. It's never been cool to be influenced by Cube, but guess what? Everyone from Pac to Bishop Lamont were influenced by Cube.Cube >>>>>> Pac
