Still as dope as it was when it first dropped, i've thought of it as a classic since then but now I would back that up even more, I mean it's been 3 years already and longevity was the only thing that was stopping it being a full blown classic back then.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

I'm feelin' it more than ever. This album has got to be like one of the best ever. And the more I listen to it, the more I get hooked into it, same thing with The Chronic, Doggystyle & Warren's Regulate... G-Funk Era. Could never give those albums up.

God man, it's been 3 years and nobody has come up with an album that I'd dig more than 2001. That's easily explained though: It's been 3 years since Dr. Dre made an album.  ;)

Dr. Dre - The one and the only. Always comin' up with classic material.

This lp still has the same bang....although with Dre pimpin' his beats out to alot of expossed eastcoast artist's & singers it seem's to be getting a lil' more & more watered down by the month.
But this lp is def the Real Blueprint to what the millenium was going to sound like.....Dre was...is and always shall be ahead of the game.

I still hate "Still Dre"
I still foward past "Forgot about Dre"
I still Bump "Ackrite" on the daily
I still wish Dre pushed Hitt more than he did certain other's..
I still love and rock the Instrumental verion....WHoa!!
u gain alot of respect for the skit's when u hear them without the talk, just the bump.

when i first bought it, i was bumping it all the time, but as time went on, I became more interested in lyrically talented, in addition to phat beats.  Listening to it now, I get bored with the songs because not only have I heard the cd at parties over the past 3 years, but the lyrics are flat out boring in some spots.  Don't get me wrong, I still love "The Next Episode", "Still D.R.E.", "Housewife", and "Bang, Bang", but other songs just bore me now

word
"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

The production is a 5/5, one of the best produced albums ever...The lyrics except for the Eminem written joints were ass...If you rate it against The Chronic and Doggystyle even though those albums weren't known for their lyrics they were alot better lyrically with Snoop, DOC and Kurupt rather than Hitman doing most of the writing...
Rainstorm the back of the bank, bustin loose like Muggsy
Typhoons, Kurupt Calhoun
with a platoon of backwards ass buffoons
Ready to shoot anything that moves             Kurupt-Trylogy

Man...I remember going to like 2 stores before I found a copy the day it dropped.  Never have I gone through so much hoopla and anticipation in my life for one CD.  It was a great time, and bumpin "Forgot About Dre" for the first time my friend and I were like, "OOOOOOOHHHHH!."  I remember "Tha Next Episode" being a banger from the moment I heard it.

LoL, thenext day I brought it to school and it got taken away from me...I imediatley went out and bought another copy, haha.

I remember talking about this a year ago, seems we do it each year.  I've been listening to the album less now, think the last time was in the summer.  It is still a classic LP on the production tip.

I liked the 1st half and hated the 2nd half. To be honest i stopped listening to it after a month of release.

I prefered "Streetz iz a muther" BY FAR over 2001
