Marshawn Lynch is an animal. We could easily be in the wild card spot if we were more consistent, but at the same time, Carroll virtually overhauled the entire roster so the growing pains were invenitiable

Yeah, lynch is an animal. It's crazy to think the bills had him AND Fred Jackson plus cj spiller and still couldn't do shit.

The only reason they traded him was that there was no room for 3 backs and they had just spent a very high draft pick on Spiller. It was the right call to pick Freddie over Marshawn, but CJ never should have been drafted to begin with. They should have drafted the best OL in the draft available, which was Maurkice Pouncy, and settled on the idea that Lynch and Jackson would be enough of a 1/2 punch to work, and we'd be in a much better position right now this season. Lynch's power style would have been the difference in 2 or 3 of our losses, and a pro-bowl caliber center like Pouncy would have helped us win another 1 or 2.

Drafting spiller was dumb. That was the only position on the bills that they had plenty of talent at, with holes everywhere else. Not only that but drafting spiller was a reach. Those type of backs never translate well in the NFL.

The bills drafting has held them back for years, I don't know who does their scouting but it's a failure. That teams had top 15 picks how many years in a row and still have little talent.

Thanks for Aaron maybin though, bills paid him to sack fitz twice.maybins a project but man he's got tons of potential and he's still very young. I've never seen a player with such a relentless motor. He's still got a lot to learn and needs to bulk up but I can't help but be excited for his future with the jets.

Most of those predictions, mine included, came in before Hasselbeck was signed and before Peyton was sidelined. That those two things away and you'd be lucky to have 3 wins right now.

My Bills collapsed once they lost their centers. It's not that Kyle Williams is that good, though he is good. It's that they have no replacement NT and moving the rookie Dareus over just hurts the run D even more.
