We had a big feature on Fresno, California artist Diego Redd last month, who’s been buzzing tremendously after Kanye West gave him his stamp of approval. Lupe Fiasco is also a Kanye-approved newcover who’s been enjoying success with his current single “Kick, Push“.
Diego Redd decided to take that song, and give it his own twist. The result is a gritty, more grimy song, with Diego Redd spilling some California realism over the throwback Hip-Hop beat. The homie Hecktik posted it on the forums, and I have it here for those who missed it:
