2B Roy Holds A “West Coast Forum” For Debut Mixtape

0

Last year dubcnn introduced an artist who created a stir amongst our readers – 2B Roy. The WestCoast Reggae artist from Southern Californa burst onto the scene ready to put his name as far out as possible following his previous work with the IV Life camp.

Since then all has been quiet and many have wondered what happened to the former friend of the now deceased Prince Ital Joe, who many will remember from his work with Death Row.

Since last year 2B Roy has been busy writing and recording new material that is set to appear on his soon to be release mixtape; “West Coast Forum” – when asked about the project 2B Roy told dubcnn; “I’m getting to the bottom of things, addressing issues like The war [on terror], women, Badman, Guns, Love and more.”

We have three tracks to premiere all with different topics and vibe but still showcaseing his unique style, one is called “Friends and Enemies” where 2B Roy talks about fake homies who have bragged about doing him wrong on the Tupac track “This Ain’t Living.” The second track we have is called “Scary” while the final cut is dedicated to Julio G and his 9 ‘O Clock Bomb radio show on KDAY [while we’re mentioned Julio G, dubcnn would like to send a belated birthday shoutout to Julio who celebrated his birthday yesterday!]

“This mixtape is where I deliver a message to West Coast rappers and other listeners using my unique style of West Coast Reggae which is a mixture of Reggae, Gangsta Rap and Dancehall music.” You can expect to see guest appearances from Breezy, Stratt, Ji Spott, Daddy V, WonderBoy and more. Check out the tracks below and make sure you stay tuned to dubcnn for the latest on “West Coast Forum.”
