Dubcnn last caught up with former First Lady of Aftermath, Shari Watson, aka Truth Hurts, for an Exclusive Interview back in 2009 as part of our “Womans Touch” series to catch up on her moves having parted with Dr. Dreﾒs Aftermath Entertainment.
In that Exclusive Interview Truth brought us up to speed with what sheﾒs been up to, set the record straight on her departure from Aftermath, talked about working with Dr. Dre, Raphael Saadiq, Mel-Man, and DJ Quik and tells us what we can expect from her in the near future.

Today we are back but not with new music from a planned album this year but an unreleased gem which has surfaced from her debut album “Truthfully Speaking” called “Truth (Set Free).” The record features Jay-Z/Roc-A-Fella artist Beanie Sigel and is produced by Dr. Dre and Mel-Man – if you loved the sound from that era you are going to love this!
