Los Angeles representer Young Keno has been a regular on Dubcnn since 2007.
In 2011 he dropped his Real N!@@a Society Remix music video featuring Joe Moses, I-20, Roccett, Mr. Smith & Marleik directed by Dubcnn’s own Jose HG.
Later that same year came the No Shirts and Tattoos single with Jayare of Cali Swag District and C.T.E.’s own 211 before a hiatus which stretched into 2012.
Last year he released Bitch I’m a Star featuring and produced by Buccweet, the solo cut Talk About It – as well as its Music Video directed Jeff Reyes. In April he dropped the free mixtape Who Is 300 presented by DJ Lico and featuring Shorty Mac, Rio Appling, Buccweet, Jim Jones and Problem.
We last heard from Keno late last year with the Disko produced single Everything Go / Go Gang and it’ official video featuring Tru TV star & show creator Lou Pizarro (Operation Repo), Jay Hollywood and The Nu Jerzey Devil.
Today Young Keno returns at long last with a brand new track – and confirmation that his long awaited LP now titled “Everything Go” is finally finished and almost ready for release. The project has been made possible since he teamed up with The Company Records and his engineer – Keno told Dubcnn;
“The story behind my music and the way I choose to express myself is a reflection of turning nothing into something. Coming up with so much opposition, there was a constant struggle. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth, so I adapted to the hustle needed to create opportunities for myself in every aspect of life. I learned to inspire myself, which led to my motto, “Everything Go”, which means I focus on making everything about me from music to fashion appealing to everyone who supports my brand down to the critics. Hate it or love it, I’m comfortable doing me, and that applies to my LOUD sense of fashion.”
He expanded on the relationship with The Company Records;
“Each person that’s a part of my movement puts three hundred percent into everything that they bring to the table. Everyone shoots to exceed past what is expected. I steer the whip, but without the help from “The Company Records” CEO, Boog, and his engineering, without Choir Boi, Super Power, or Eddie B sending that gas (beats), or Jay Hollywood, my DJ, setting the tone before I max up on stage, there would be no movement.”
