With the confirmed premiere of “Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre” happening in just a few hours (6-9pm PDT on Apple Music) Dr. Dre called into Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show to talk about about the project earlier.
In the call he discussed how the album came together, how inspired he was on the set of “Straight Outta Compton,” reveals that he wrote most of it with his two new artists, Justus and King Mez, as well as announcing he will donate all of his royalties to build a new performance arts center in Compton!
