You read it right! The collabo we all waited for after Jay-Z dropped $10,000 on Crenshaw mixtapes back in 2013 has finally happened!

When the Slauson rapper dropped his now iconic Crenshaw mixtape, he sold physical copies of the CD at $100 each! Jay-Z, who was appreciated of the hustle, and a fan of Nip purchased 100 copies.

While the collaboration between the two never happened over the coming years – and then Nipsey’s untimely death – a record has finally been put together to bring them alongside each other for “What It Feels Like.”

Nipsey spits

“And this is what it feels like / The only reason I survived ’cause a ni**a is special / First you get successful, then it gets stressful.”

The single appears on the soundtrack for the Shaka King-directed film, Judas And The Black Messiah.

The east-west connect sees the duo exchange thoughts on “What It Feels Like” in Black America – showcasing struggle & success.

The track is one of 22 on the offical soundtrack which boasts appearances from H.E.R., Black Thought, Smino, Saba, Masego, Pooh Shiesty, Rapsody, G Herbo, Sir, and more.
