Born in the College Park section of Atlanta, GA, yet growing up in Agusta (Only to move back to Atlanta later in life) Pastor Troy made his name back in the late 90s with his scathing Master P diss record “No More Play In GA,” as well with his amazing Independent following, which led to a three year stint with Universal Records. Since his last major release in 2004, PT has been keeping a steady pace of strong guest appearances. This year, he’s dropping two albums, Money & Power and the 845 Ent./SMC/Fontana/Universal release, Stay True. We have a track from the latter, that, yet again, reaffirms Pastor Troy is a force to be reckoned with on the mic. More than your typical Crunk rapper, the Pastor implements substance, alongside his ode’s to tearing clubs up.
This particular song though, is more riot inducing, than thought provoking.
“My Killas Is Tired, And I’m Gettin’ Tired, And We Won’t Quit, Til That Grill Re-Wired, Ya Hoe!“
