The ladies went crazy over “She’s Like The Wind” in the 80’s, from the movie “Dirty Dancing“. Only a few oldies have been left untouched by the new generation, but this was one of those hits that nobody had decided to remake… until the VIBEKINGz came about. DJ S.T.A.T.I.C. and DJ Size took it upon themselves to release an updated version of the song with a fresh R&B twist.
They linked up with 23-year-old singer Maliq and rapper Spoon to record the song. They inked a deal with Universal Records, and have been climbing the charts overseas, it’s only a matter of time before it catches on in the States.
