Since making his online debut right here on dubcnn back in June 2005 the MC formally known as Blunts LLA has steadily been climbing the ladder of success. Although the name he goes by may has changed; the ethos, work ethic and unarguable talent he possesses remain the same. Omar Cruz is finally getting ready to unveil himself to the world.
Following the string of mixtape releases he has put out since 2005, including “Blow: The Final Chapter” and more recently the DJ Skee collaborations “The Cruzifixion” and “2007 B.C. (Before Cruz)” [see; Omar Cruz – 2007 B.C. (Before Cruz) Mixtape Download], Omar Cruz has earned recognition and finally a 50/50 record deal with BYI/Interscope/Geffen to release his debut album; “Sign Of The Cruz” due later this year.
Today we are back with a recently released video clip of Omar Cruz and fellow Geffen labelmate The Game in the studio knocking out a track for the his debut album.
