2009 has been light on news updates from Shade Sheist on Dubcnn after what can only be described as a hectic 2008. In January we caught up with Shade Sheist for an Exclusive Interview and premiered his 2008 Wrap Up track.
It’s over a year new since PutYourselfOut and Shade Sheist released the first ever “WorldTape” – made available for Free Download via the Dubcnn Digital Distribution Network. The concept project was said to be the launch-pad for more “WorldTape’s” dedicated to countries all over the world!
That first project Shade Sheist – Out of Sight Out of Mind: USA Edition featured artists and producers such as Keyshia Cole, Nate Dogg, Lil Kim, Missy Elliot, T-Pain, Eddie Kane Jr, LeMarvin, Damizza, Bishop Lamont, Stat Quo, Focus, Cadillac Tah, Krayzie Bone, Jayo Felony, Knoc-Turn’Al, N.U.N.E., Nitty Black, Roscoe, Tri-Star, Ne-Yo, Bigg Steele, Teddy Riley, BlackStreet, Mariah Carey, Irv Gotti and Dr. Dre.
Since that release Shade Sheist has been on Dubcnn with the aforementioned interview, on the RedMusicUK Bad Enough video as well as for his work with Canada’s own C-Infamous.
It’s in Canada that he has been putting the finishing touches to his long awaited second “WorldTape” – the Canadian Edition of “Out Of Sight Out Of Mind” which is hitting you for free download in August on Dubcnn! Expect new music as well as remixes and productions from some of Canada’s best. You can expect to hear N.U.N.E., Roscoe, Kurupt and Young Assassins as co-stars with other vocals from Bone Thugs, Above The Law, Heather Hunter, Mariah Carey and Prince.
We have the first single from the project, a track featuring Young Assassins entitled “1 Day I Was Chillin'” produced by Ruff Dogg.
