Renowned music industry veteran Stan Sheppard has been tapped as a columnist by the Los Angeles Sentinel, the largest black owned/operated newspaper in the nation. In addition, his column will be featured in the Watts Times and on the internet site Eurweb.com.
This news comes on the heels of him joining forces with the legendary recording artist Kokane as his day to day business operations manager and as a partner in the artist’s new music company. Sheppard is also managing legendary West Coast producer Battlecat.
Sheppard and Kokane are currently preparing for the release of the artist’s new single entitled
“Who is You” from the forthcoming album “In the Middle of the Road” which will be distributed world-wide by Universal Music.
Kokane will release the project under his new moniker Jerry B. Long (his birthname) and he is entering the studio to prepare the re-mix version with Grammy Award winning artist Cee-Lo Green and Goodie Mobb member Gipp Goodie.
Stay tuned for more on Kokane, Battlecat and Stan Sheppard.
