Watts native Sage Baby was first brought to Dubcnn’s attention by Lunch and Fingazz in 2009 with his single Best In The West featuring Glasses Malone, Jay Rock, K Dot, 40 Glocc, Roscoe Umali, Bigg Steele, and Fingazz over a LITO Beatz production. We then followed that up with the Hollywood Lights record featuring Fingazz produced by The Warriors and Bye Bye featuring IE representer Dirty Birdy.
Sage Baby returned at the start of 2010 with his debut mixtape release alongside Fingazz & DJ Warrior entitled simply 2010 for free download.
It was then a year til we next heard from Sage Baby with the Goes Around single featuring Fingazz, Rill & Diamonique. Sage is back on Dubcnn today – and hopefully the first of many more times in 2012 – with a new video for the single “Bipolar” which features on his last release “Black Roses” – watch the Coke Daniels directed visual below.
