Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre – who premiered The Recipe produced by Scoop DeVille via Big Boy’s Neighborhood on Power 106 in April – were set to unleash the video from Kendrick’ major label debut via Aftermath/Interscope/TDE on July 10th.

The date came and went without the release – in the intervening days Kendrick did stop by Power 106 to announce the official release date for his highly anticipated major label debut “Good Kid In A Mad City” as October 2nd as well as dropping his and Dr. Dre’s Live Coachella 2012 Performance Video as well as a brand new record Swimming Pools (Drank) produced by T-Minus and mixed by Ali & Dr. Dre.

The Swimming Pools (Drank) record – initially a buzz track – has gathered huge international interest, including being featured in the UK on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra and word is via the folks at AHH that a video has since been shot for the cut that will debut this Friday August 3rd on BET’s 106 & Park.

Stay tuned to Dubcnn for the video and remember “Good Kid In A Mad City” drops October 2nd – now go listen to The Recipe and Swimming Pools (Drank) again right now!
