Last month Big Hutch & Kokane reunited for “These Dayz” which was well received by Dubcnn readers.

Big Hutch continues staying busy since his release from Federal Incarceration.  First releasing “Fresh Out The Pen”, followed by “Only God Can Judge Me”, “From Pomona With Love, and “The Only Solution” with Insane Clown Posse’s Psychopathic Records, now the G-Funk pioneer also known as Cold 187um is gearing up to release “The Next Big Thang” Compilation and his next album entitled “Live From Hell’s Kitchen.”

Hutch weighed in on his upcoming plans:

So not only will I be dropping the “Live From Hell’s Kitchen” album, but I’m also going to release “The Next Big Thang”, a compilation concept record of artist and groups I’ve hand picked that I personally feel have what it takes and give them a chance like I was given a chance.”

Big Hutch further explains:

“As for me, Big Hutch Cold 187um, I’ma drop a record whenever I feel like it for as long as I feel like it. I helped build this industry. But I also know as an O.G. in the game, it is my responsibility to invest in helping young raw talent in Hip-Hop come up. So not only will I be dropping the Live From Hell’s Kitchen album, but I’m also going to release “The Next Big Thang”, a compilation concept record of artist and groups I’ve hand picked that I personally feel have what it takes and give them a chance like I was given a chance. Hopefully the project will do well and each individual artist has the opportunity to expand and do their own thing as well as stay connected and support other artist thus creating an industry for underground artist again.”

“Live From Hell’s Kitchen” is slated to drop this summer as well as “The Next Big Thang” compilation.
