Geo Brown Reminds Us He’s “Still Here” With Drake Inspired Record

It’s been five years since he dropped his 2008 collaborative street album Heart Of The City with Noni Spitz – but today Geo Brown reminds us he’s “Still Here.”

That release featured production from Dae One, Dame Taylor, THX, Clinton Place, Jared Jedi Moore and more.

Geo Brown went on to work with producers Dae One,FocusDamizza and Dame Taylor and appeared on projects such as the Tupac Assassination Soundtrack.

Since mid 2009 Geo Brown has dropped a variety of records including Dont Want ItBack Seat featuring Noni Spitz over production from Jared “Jedi” MooreGet A Bar and Life Of The Function – all from the DJ Backside hosted, Dae One mixed Underdog Vol 2 project.

Geo returned in 2012 with the banging new single Everywhere I Go (watch Music Video for Everywhere I Go), the single All I Need produced by Dae OneF*ck A Name Tag produced by Tweek Beatz and then his free 7 Track No Uniform featuring appearances by Brooke Taylor and more over production from Tweekbeatz, Dae One, K-Mac, Jake Uno, Mos Def and Monsta Beatz.

Today after a hiatus Geo Brown returns to remind readers that he’s “Still Here” –  with a new single and video inspired by Drake’s “Started From The Bottom” single – Geo told Dubcnn;

“I’m speaking for the ones who still here at the bottom, and ‘im also letting whoever didn’t know about me or thought I left; that I’m “Still Here.” I’m currently working with Dae One and new music and new visuals are set to come shortly after this one. Also [check out] the end of the video for a snippet of a new original record of mines called “Want Money”.”
