Evidence, Rakaa Iriscience and DJ Babu will drop a new Dilated Peoples album, after an 8 year wait, next week.
“Directors of Photography” will be released on August 12 via Expansion Team/Rhymesayers Entertainment and is available for pre-order on iTunes.
We’ve already dropped the tracklist for the 16 track LP – featuring appearances from Vince Staples, Aloe Blacc, Catero, Gangrene, Sick Jacken and Krondon – as well as releasing the visual to the DJ Premier produced “Good As Gone.” The second track released was “Show Me The Way” featuring Aloe Blacc, produced by Jake One.
Over the last two weeks the group have been dropping a behind the scenes series, first up was “Finding Focus (BTS)” where Dilated Peoples spoke about the evolution of the group, second was “Deep Focus” about the new LP, Director’s of Photography and how they took a different approach this time around.
