Long Beach songstress Mickey Taelor takes her influence from Lauryn Hill, Billie Holiday and Eyrkah Badu – the results on “HiiGrade Vol.2” are nothing short of outstanding.

Her sophomore album features music produced by Dae One, Willie B, and the Teamsters, and features a range of sounds that everyone is sure to love- R&B, Reggae, Hip Hop, and even a little EDM.

“After watching some of my fans and closest industry friends vibe out to my music last week during my listening session, it solidified that this is not only my baby, but I am giving the world a piece of me that I can only express through my music,” says Mickey.

“HiiGrade” Vol.2 brought together two highly respected West Coast producers for the first time, who started off as fans first of Mickey Taelor.

“It’s truly an honor, especially when you’re involved in your favorite artist career,”
says Willie B.

Dae One did not hesitate to jump on the project and leave his mark on the album.

“We just got in the studio and creativity challenged each other on every level with the writing to subject matter to the mixes. We wanted to take what she does naturally to another level. I believe we have achieved that with this body of work,”
says Dae One.
