DJ Quik Talks Nate Dogg, Dr. Dre, Tupac, Kendrick Lamar, Eazy-E & Bugs Bunny!


Having been media silent for some time – until speaking to DubCNN at his album release party late last year – DJ Quik has given some great interviews of late and one has been dropped by the team at Montreality.

As Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp A Butterfly” dropped early, the team at Montreality released the piece that see’s Quik speak on a huge level of topical subjects, including the new K.Dot album – even touching on how impressed he was when they first met around the time Quik mixed the Jay Rock & Lil Wayne track “All My Life.”

The wide-ranging interview touches on the type of student he was at school and jobs he had as a teenager, before divulging what he spent his first paycheck on! Did you know Quik’s favourite cartoon character was – well you will when you watch this!
