Last year we introduced Los Angeles based hip hop artist Yung We$t who is signed to Omar Cruz’ LAB Records. In that update he dropped the first single from his debut EP, “Bang Out” before appearing for an interview on Episode 70 of the Microphone Masters Radio Show.
Now LAB Records have released the remix for Yung We$ts’ single “#1000” featuring Mac Lucci which is now available on iTunes. A video for this banger will be released in March with his debut album “All Or Nothing” expected to follow in Spring 2015.
To hold fans over until Spring, Yung We$t dropped a free project on February 7th, 2015 called “Dilla: Tha Gift” a dedication to legendary producer James “J-Dilla” Yancey who was born on February 7th, 1974 and passed away on February 10th, 2006. The project features Yung We$t over J-Dilla beats and provides the listeners with an in-depth perspective of We$ts’ life and rise to become one of the most promising new artists on the west coast.
