(Long Beach) RBX, is releasing his new single “Picnic Caskets” on October 20th for this Halloween season. The banger, off his upcoming comeback album Hibernation Shivers, hits you with a cinematic horror themed production laced by Labcabin Records’ Sccit & Siavash The Grouch and features Memphis legend Project Pat. “It came together naturally.. Didn’t have to force it. Then Daz told us it just so happens to be Snoop’s birthday the day it drops, which the joint is kind of a sequel to ‘Serial Killa’ off Doggystyle. We ain’t gota try, it lines up like that on its own when you movin on some real shit,” says RBX. Project Pat added, “That Candyman joint with RBX..That’s a major blessing of our energy.”
The eerie tune marks a monumental moment in hip-hop history, connecting the DPG clique with the Three 6 Mafia camp.
“Picnic Caskets” is the third single from the upcoming Hibernation Shivers album. RBX dropped “Nightstalker”, a single featuring Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs~N~Harmony, in early July, and “Lets Ride”, featuring Sccit & Klientel, in early September.
The highly anticipated album includes a star-studded line-up of golden era emcees including: MC Eiht, Project Pat, Spice 1, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Ras Kass, Krayzie Bone, Crooked I, Cold 187um, Fatlip and more, with a scheduled release this November.
