J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!
« on: December 27, 2009, 04:10:35 PM »
i went into today thinking, that the season was over.

we were going to get slaughtered by the Colts & on top of that we needed like 3 teams to lose.

THEY DID! they all lost!

God showed up today in the form of;

the Jets pulled off the victory.

just to poke some jabs, perfect season? NOPE. MVP? let's go Chris Johnson. 2nd ring? GTFO!

the Colts will not win another game this season; they would look like COMPLETE morons if they had everyone play the week after they had everybody sit. so next week they find a way to lose. then after the BYE week of the Playoffs? it will be goodBYE for the Colts.

i think today destroyed the heart of the Colts, as they flash cameras on the starters sitting on the bench, Peyton with that pout look on his face; i'm convinced that they killed themselves today - their own worst enemy.

i could be wrong & this could just be a blemish of a Super Bowl season for Indy, but all the pieces fit & as history shows, it's time for them to fold up shop.

JETS BETTER BEAT CINCY NEXT WEEK!

J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS! 8)

P.S. - Caldwell get the boot if they lose their first playoff game?

LOL at taking shots at everyone and anyone about it. Colts laid down for some reason; they clearly didn't want the perfect season. Sorry to burst your bubble but the Bengals are still playing for something next week so they won't lay down. Jets will lose and miss the playoffs.

I agree with everything you said, unless they face the Jets in the Divisional playoff game, I don't full out expect them to win the first playoff game anymore. What happened to day should be outlawed by the league. People spend hard earned money to be a part of history and Bill Polian, Caldwell, and Irsay should take it out of their salaries to pay pack every ticket holder in that stadium.

Here's a question; what's the Colts record today if Manning went down in week 1 like Brady did last year?

i wouldn't say the "Colts laid down", the coaching staff laid down.

Peyton, Freeny, Reggie, all with pissed off, upset looks on their face.

i'm sure they would look a bit more relaxed if the "Colts" agreed to lay down.

this opprotunity might not come around for any team for the next 25 years.

anyway, Jets & that mighty defense win next week. 8)

that's what i was like "what the fuck?". if that was my first Colts game ever, first time at an NFL game & i have to sit there to watch Curtis Painter scrub it up, when i could be watching the MVP, in the more than likely victory, i would be LIVID!

to answer your question, with Painter as the backup? 5-11 with that easy ass schedule.

with Matt Cassell? 8-8? 9-7?

I can't believe the coaching staff decided to do that

Show me the 5 games they win with Painter, or Cassel. I don't think they'd have the division locked up even with Brady, and that's not a jab.

week 1 loss
week 2 loss
week 3, 4, 5 and 7 they win with either QB.
Week 8 loss with Painter or Cassel, win with Brady
week 9,10,11,12 losses by all three
week 13 win with Brady but not other 2
week 14 loss
week 15 win with Brady
week 16 we'll see

So with Cassel or Painter I see a maximum of 4-12. With Brady I could see them being 9-7 at the most.

too bad we'll never get a chance to see your crazy theories happen lol.

none of this affects reality in the slightest, let's just accept the loss & not turn this into a Brady/Peyton arguement.

but for the record, Brady would have 11 wins. ;D

As long as you admit 14+ is out of the question, I'm good.

I didn't think the Colts would rest but they did. If they didn't, they would have won I think. My guess is both teams finish 8-8 with the Jets winning the tie breaker but both fall short of the post season.

lol it's not like i'm making some sort of bold prediction

Bengals > Jets

my only stupid one was the Bucs prediction. And that's because I thought they'd play like they did yesterday against New Orleans.

my picks are still Baltimore & Denver for the wild card - and they are the deserving ones anyway 'cause they'd put up the most competition
