This years AHAT (All Hip-Hop All The Time) Convention takes place on Oct 18 & 19 at the D Casino in Las Vegas.
AHAT is a Movement that started in Las Vegas in 2008 with the purpose of helping up and coming artists gain exposure and provide a platform to demonstrate their lyrical ability.
Since then the movement has expanded to Southern California with their Rap Battle series called Barz & Stripez, developed online at ahat.tv, and this year will the AHAT Convention will be the first ever battle rap convention – on Oct 18 & 19 at the D Casino in Las Vegas. OD will host the event and the keynote speaker will be Tracey Smith, formerly of Def Jam currently with Billionaire Mafia and Star Status.
The battle leagues involved include all four AHAT divisions, GrindtimeNow, Battle America, Street Status, Block City TV, Voicebox, Brooklyn Mic Club, WBL, SBL, The Bar Exams, Bar Wars and Daily Duels.
Other entities involved in the AHAT Convention include DubCNN, BattleScene.net, HH Radio, R.A.W. Magazine, Billionaire Mafia, 100 Bars Magazine, Radionomy, Live Victorious, HipHop Media Hub, and Mad Dog productions.
