This weeks Microphone Masters Radio is a tribute and dedication to Phife Dawg, the ATCQ legend who sadly passed this week.

The legendary emcee passed away at the age of 45 left us too soon but left behind a wonderful musical legacy. Starr Saxxxon and J-Luv talk about Phife’s impact and how he transformed himself to the B-Boy extraordinaire.

Phife’s passing was followed by an outpouring of love from fans at all levels including ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt. This led J-Luv to ask Saxxxon about music and sports ability to bridge economic and cultural divides. Do you have a Soundcloud account? Well, recent developments may lead to an exodus of independent artists and producers.

Check out songs from A Tribe Called Quest, EPMD, Phife Dawg, Prhyme, Joyner Lucas, Pete Rock and CL Smooth and more.
