Watts representer Six Reasons had a huge 2011 and shows no sign of stopping judging by 2012 so far.

As we’ve been reporting he is currently working on his latest mixtape “80’s Baby” – the follow up to 2008’s Pipe Dreams and last years DJ Skee presented Do Not Pass Go Do Not Collect $200. During 2011 Six Reasons released footage of him and The Game LIVE in Arizona at The Venue Scottsdale as well as dropping the video to his latest record Raindance featuring Too Short and a Behind The Scenes look of that shoot.

He followed that up with the video for Shotgun featuring Constantine before dropping the single Runnin’ For President as well as a music video last month.

Last month he was on Dubcnn with the video for I Need A Cape featuring Prophet that will appear on the “80’s Baby” project. Today we return as Six Reasons just completed a huge week in his career at SXSW, which culminated with a performance on the Vibe House stage alongside hip-hop heavyweights, such as Snoop Dogg, Timbaland and Nipsey Hussle and he has documented his first SXSW experience, and what it means to his music career in an engaging and insightful video, “The Road to SXSW,” which we have for you below.
