Just beyond the city limits of San Diego – in Escondido – 24-year-old Unkle Sam is preparing to put his city on the map.
Unkle Sam is poised to be Southern California’s next rising star, with a native Egyptian mother and an African-American father he hails from a culturally diverse household.
As a youngster, Unkle Sam gained an affinity for hip-hop from 90s hip-hop figures like The Notorious B.I.G., 2pac, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony as well as fellow Californians Snoop Dogg and Too Short.
He began to hone his talent in the studio with Escondido-based hip-hop collective Dungeon, Inc. and soon was traveling with the camp that saw him opening up for artists like E-40, Nipsey Hussle, and Menace.
Last month he dropped a video which has caught our attention which is set to be on his upcoming project, “On It’s On Me, Vol. 3.
The track is called “The Cookbook”, a gritty record that seems him showcase his swagger, check it below and drop a coment
