Long Beach, California hip-hop collective, Tha Dogg Pound, joins forces with CNN aka Capone-N-Noreaga, to make hip-hop history on the collaborative effort, “Guidelines.”
The two hip-hop groups will go down in rap infamy for their heated rivalry in the mid-to-late 90’s, which many believe ignited due in part to Tha Dogg Pound’s legendary “New York New York” single and accompanying video, featuring Snoop Dogg kicking over New York buildings and landmarks. Capone-N-Noreaga, along with Mobb Deep and other affiliated members, promptly retaliated with LA LA, a legendary diss track in its own right, laced with subliminal messages.
Now, years later, the two hip-hop super powers unite to release a brand new song and video, titled “Guidelines.” All four emcess deliver trademark razor-sharp material, embodying each respective personality.
