The Godbody is a landmark collaborative hip-hop album by icons Rakim, Kurupt, and Masta Killa, set for release on September 18, 2026.
The album follows the release of Rakim’s first self-produced solo track in fifteen years, “A Different Kind,” which trended twice on social media.
The third single and video, “Rabbit,” is now available on all DSPs.
The project symbolizes a mission of mutual respect, legacy, artistry, and coastal unity, recorded across both coasts: Kurupt (California), Masta Killa and Rakim (New York).
Inspired by the late Tupac Shakur’s vision to unite East and West Coast emcees into one cohesive work.
The album is entirely produced by Rakim and Nick Wiz.
Features guest appearances by Snoop Dogg, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, KRS-One, Daz Dillinger, Kool G Rap, Buckshot, Kokane, and Killa Sin. The Godbody aims to offer fans a feeling of “One Nation” in hip-hop.
