In mid May we released the news that Eastwood and Meech Wells have aligned to release a new project together entitled “Family Business: Tha Takeover (Volume 1).” [see; Eastwood & Meech Wells Announce New Project] and today we are back with fresh, exclusive audio from that very album.
“Family Business: Tha Takeover (Volume 1)” will feature new and exclusive music from Eastwood and his camp as well as production from Meech Wells and the Soul Mechanix.
The first track we have is a Meech Wells production that sees Eastwood alongside Cutty for the bass heavy track “Holla At Me” that is sure to get heads nodding and windows shaking.

The second track is one that I can assure you will be added to your regular rotations straight away. “What If?” is a Meech Wells and Soul Mechanix production that is pure soulful music. Eastwood takes to the beat with ease, slowing up is flow, toning his voice and delivering introspective and thoughtout rhymes with structure and purpose. He is joined on the track by Macadoshis (Thug Life) who continues the flow of the song with equally thought-provoking lyrics. This is one track not to be missed.
