Back in July 2012 Snoop Dogg announced to the world that he was now reincarnated as Snoop Lion.
That news was coupled with the release of his single La La La back in July and that he was planning to release an entire reggae album.
The LP – produced by Diplo and the Major Lazer production team – was to be alongside a documentary, shot during his time in Jamaica, that premièred at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival.
Having dropped the video to La La La right here on dubcnn in November he followed that up with his second single as Snoop Lion in December entitled “Here Comes the King” featuring Angela Hunte.
Today Snoop is back with a brand new video for a track called “Lighters Up” featuring Mavado and Popcaan that was shot last month in Jamaica on location at Boston Bay and Trident Castle. The Andy Capper directed video can be watched below!
