1145671409 - January 1, 1970 By : South Gate's very own Young Brown, who we've been reporting on for over a year, is set to drop his debut album
"Out Tha Gate" in June.
The Rooftop Muzik affiliate reached out to Suga Free, Bad Azz, 40 Glocc, Glasses Malone, W.S. Bugg, Kokane, Ese Daz (Spanish Fly), Ca$ino, Bokie Loc, Nek-One, Infra-Redd, Blaze and Hook to join him on the album, and got laced up with top notch production by the likes of J-Steez who did most of the album, aswell as Nek-One & Co-T.
Young Brown has been recording on the album for over a year, and has been on his grind performing and opening up shows for Suga Free & Glasses Malone amongst others and toured overseas aswell. He recently shot a video for his single "Fly Girl", which you can view here.
I have two exclusive joints from the album for ya'll to download from the 21-track deep album. The first one is the single, "Fly Girl", featuring Ese Daz (Spanish Fly). Check it out below:

1147381561 - January 1, 1970 By : It's two years on May 28th since we introduced Mykestro to the world on dubcnn in a news article/interview with both Mykestro and his older brother and westcoast legend Battlecat. [View the article in the Archives].
When asked to describe himself he told dubcnn: "I would say I'm absolutely universal. I have alot of versitality, and definitely not what you would expect out of L.A. I come from a musical background, MC and production wise. I'm very consistent as far as lyrics go, I'm a MC!"
When asked about his influences growing up Mykestro shouts without hesitation that "Kurupt was my hero! That's my hero right there! That's who I looked up to when coming up, I always felt like he was a different type of MC, so that was my main influence from the gate. But now I listen to alot of different shit, I like Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Pharaohe Monch, Ice Cube.. I like real MC's, I like Slum Village, Jigga of course, Eminem is a monster, Busta Rhymes, of course Biggie & Pac.. Yeah those are the main ones" While his big brother told dubcnn; "To me man, Mykestro is like Jay-Z and Common Sense in one... yeah he's like the mix of the two!"
Since then things have only been on the up for the artist that Tawala Sharp of KKBT Los Angeles said; "Hip-Hop is a couple, lost on a dark highway...Mykestro is the map that will set West Coast Hip-Hop back in the right direction."
Dubbed "The Best West OF The 110," Mykestro is THAT dude who is grinding hard and making his presence felt on the westcoast. His pedigree includes appearances on LPs by Snoop Dogg, countless mixtapes, and working with his older brother, the prodcution legend that is DJ Battlecat. On his debut single, Mykestro has linked with two of L.A.'s newest and brightest stars, Glasses Malone (Blu Division/Sony Music) and Bishop Lamont (Aftermath/Interscope) to deliver a record that could be a contender for CD Single & 12" of the year come December. Even rapper Big Pooh of Little Brother got nothing but love for Mykestro: "I f-cks wit Mykestro."
We have the audio from the single which is being released by ABB Records featuring Glasses Malone and Bishop Lamont with production from Terrace Martin and Diverse; cop the single to enjoy the "Raw & Uncutt" mix produced by DJ Battlecat.
Mykestro - Where You From?! (Feat. Glasses Malone) (Produced By Terrace Martin)
Mykestro - Fireman (Feat. Bishop Lamont) (Produced By Diverse)
Mykestro - Dubcnn Shoutout (2004)
We will be keeping you updated on Mykestro's debut album with news and audio as the year progresses, shouts to Mykestro, Glasses Malone, Blu Division, Bishop Lamont & ABB Records. Until then you can visit Mykestro's MySpace page to learn more about this talented youngster.

1158255084 - January 1, 1970 By : It seems a long time ago now since dubcnn exposed the world to the talent that is Bishop Lamont. In the years that have now passed he has gone from a promising newcomer to working with the highest echelons of the indusrty in a short time.
Since signing with Dr. Dre's own Aftermath Records Bishop Lamont has been working tirelessly in the studio recording and writing for his own debut album entitled "The Reformation" as well as the most shrowded release in Hip-Hop history, Dr. Dre's "Detox."
In the midst of all this recording a track has emerged that is being hailed as Bishop's street single designed to increase the buzz, get people talking and most importantly asking the questions, "Who is Bishop Lamont and when is his album out?"
Bishop Lamont has gathered two of the WestCoast's other brightest talents "Mr 1.7 Million" Glasses Malone and the incredible Chevy Jones for the track "Up & Down" which is produced by Scott Storch
The street single is from the debut album "The Reformation" which as previously mentioned with be on Aftermath Entertainment and is due for release next year.
Bishop Lamont - Up & Down (Feat. Glasses Malone & Chevy Jones) (Produced By: Scott Storch)
We have the track for download above and have one message from Bishop Lamont and the Aftermath camp...download it, bump it, spread it...DJ's spin it, Radio play it and existing fans spread the word that Bishop Lamont is readying "The Reformation." As always stay tuned to dubcnn for the latest.

After their recent name change and new label deal with WC's Big Swang Records [see: The Swat Change Name; Sign to WC's Big Swang Records], Money Grip and M.P. are back with new material for your ears. With a buzz spreading on the streets and the internet, Tha Trapp earned their Hip Hop stripes on albums such as Mack 10's "Ghetto Gutter & Gangsta" and other Hoo Bangin' related projects.

1175036304 - January 1, 1970 By : Tha Dogg Pound is back with the anticipated “Dogg Chit’, Daz and Kurupt’s latest group album, which dropped today on Koch Records. The video to the first single “Vibe With A Pimp” was shot a few weeks ago in L.A. and should be airing soon, lookout for behind the scenes pictures from the video shoot on dubcnn this week.
The first feedback from the fans has been very positive, “Dogg Chit” brings you Daz and Kurupt doing what they do best, delivering raw uncut gangsta music. Daz supplied the production, Dogg Pound from top to bottom, and Daz and Kurupt both stepped their rhymes up compared to “Cali Iz Active”.
The guest appearances are also interesting, as you see Bad Azz back with the boys on “Where U From”, for which you can see the video here. The Game joins the Pound on “Anybody Killa”, an old school sounding track, with Game tearing the song apart. Sac-Town rhyme spitter Brotha Lynch Hung makes an appearance as well, making the DPG/Lynch connection official, after Lynch’s song “Territory” with Snoop Dogg.
Too Short shows up for a pimpish verse on the sexually explicit “Can’t Get Enough”, with Snoop Dogg and RBX appearing on “Bucc’em”. The most memorable track however has to be “Blaze It Up”, which reunites some old allies, and brings in a fresh face. I’m talking about Jayo Felony, Dre’sta, B.G. Knocc Out and Glasses Malone, who bless the Dogg Pound with some fire rhymes on the closing track of the album.
We have the tracklisting of the album below, you can click on the highlighted links to listen to the songs or watch the videos:

1196812278 - January 1, 1970 By : On a better note, today we would like to introduce you to the latest addition to the New West movement. The name is Q.P. (aka Que-Pee) and he's representing Southeast San Diego. Q.P. is about to hit the scene next month on New Years day with his debut project entitled "The Track Record".
The album's 20 songs have a universal sound, but with the New West stamp all over them thanks to the production of Ceenlye Music, Booze Beats & 2Exclusive, and guest appearances from the likes of Glasses Malone, Crooked I, Mic G, Lady Xplicit just to name a few.
"Tha Introduction" is the self-explanatory title of the lead single and it's a monster! Not only did producer Ceenlye lace a simple but yet effective beat, but Q.P. also managed to secure two of the West Coast's dopest artists on the same track: The lyrical assassin Crooked I and "L.A.'s Mac Dre" Glasses Malone. You can't go wrong with a line-up like that, and they all bring their A-Game to the table.
That's all there is to say, I will let him introduce himself and let the music do the talking:
Q.P. - Tha Introduction Feat. Crooked I & Glasses Malone
Again, "The Track Record" drops 01/01/08. For more info visit his MySpace page myspace.com/quepee1 or Ceenyle's page at myspace.com/ceenylemusic.

1199052965 - January 1, 1970 By : Few independent labels have acheived what PutYourselfOut have managed to do over the past few years. From countless projects, to touring and more the organisation has built a reputation for quality across the board. With 2007 now at an end Shade Sheist and PutYourselfOut wanted to give our readers a headsup on what is to come in 2008 and rest assured their reputation is only set to increase with what is to come!
First up for 2008 sees Shade Sheist and his Partner In Rhyme N.U.N.E. head to Canada for a Tour being put on by Dubcnn Featured Haze Entertainment.
The rest of the first quarter will see the duo also hit Taiwan and the UK as part of their heavy touring plans for 2008.
In terms of recording Shade Sheist and N.U.N.E. have been in the studio recording with Glasses Malone, Bishop Lamont, Stat Quo and Y.A. (Tri-Star, Roscoe, Slo Stallone) for their long awaited "Movin Units" project that is now set to drop in 2008, the lead single will be premiered soon as entitled "Movin Like A Boss" produced by James Brown. As if that wasn't enough the two have already signed to J-Steez to release a sophomore project soon after that will see J-Steez producing the entire album. The first single from that release has just been completed and is called "Table Dance" featuring Eddie Kane Jr as well as a remix with XL Middleton.
In terms of solo projects, Shade Sheist has just started his third album while both Eddie Kane Jr and N.U.N.E. are finishing up their respective albums.
Regular Dubcnn visitors will be familiar with the PYO From Yo Hood video series that has been appearing on YouTube. PYO are now in talks with both VH1 and The E! Channel to take the project further under the title "Making The Comeback."
To wrap up - and this may be last but is by no means least - Shade Sheist and the PutYourselfOut family are proud to announce that they are taking over the world next year - literally - PYO will be releasing the world's first "WorldTape" in 2008 - what is a "WorldTape" you ask?
Well in an era when most artists are releasing mixtapes and Street Albums, Shade Sheist is compiling his greatest features, productions and exclusive never before heard music and droppin it for free in the United States. What's so original about that you may ask? Well under the title "WorldTape" Shade Sheist is going global by creating an editon for every major country in the world?
His recent silence from releasing new material has been the result of working with major artists and producers around the world in various countries to release the first "WorldTape" entitled "Out of Sight Out of Mind" - the cover to which can be seen in full by clicking the new image above. "Out of Sight Out of Mind," which is due for release in January 2008, will be the first in the "WorldTape" series that will eventually see versions appear for Japan, Canada, Italy, South America, UK, Germany and countless more. This is a completely new vision and Dubcnn and its readers are involved from the start.
We are calling out to any artists or producers from any country that want to be involved to come forward and get involved in this game-changing, world-impacting, promotion-heavy project. Get involved today by contacting theworldtape@aol.com.
It wouldn't be right if we dropped all this information without some fresh new audio and in true Dubcnn style we have a single from next months first "WorldTape" - "Out of Sight Out of Mind." The track sees Shade Sheist linked back up with Damizza (on production) and features previously Dubcnn Featured LeMarvin.

1200428803 - January 1, 1970 By : DJ Nik Bean has just issued a huge press release regarding his latest projects. We're going to drop the whole thing for you to read today, so check it out below, and don't forget to visit DJ Nik Bean on Myspace!
"Renowned Los Angeles-based DJ Nik Bean has announced plans today to release a new mixtape project every week during the months of January, February, and March. This is exciting news for fans of California hip-hop, who have quickly come to recognize Nik’s mixtapes as a street-savvy source of quality music. While Nik has created compilations for West Coast legends like Ice Cube, Tha Dogg Pound, and Jayo Felony, he is most well-known for his ability to highlight the best in new artists, as evidenced by his projects with emerging superstars Hot Dollar and Glasses Malone.
Nik, known in the streets as “The Mixtape Hustler,” will be on the grind more than ever with this three-month long mixtape extravaganza. A highlight from the set is “Streetz Of L.A. Volume 4,” the latest installment in Nik’s highly successful West Coast mixtape series. For this fourth edition, Nik has teamed up with L.A. radio heavyweight Felli Fel and Atlanta’s mixtape champion DJ Drama to create what will assuredly be one of the biggest mixtape releases of the year. The involvement from Drama and Felli Fel, the latter of which recently signed with Atlanta-based So So Def Records, will combine with Nik’s California-bred mentality to make the project a cross-country success in more ways than one.
Nik and Felli Fel have teamed up to release four other projects together during this blitz. A Valentine’s Day release with lyrical firestarter Crooked I entitled “The St. Valentine’s Bossacre” will hit the streets as a surprise gift. The project will feature a variety of new and previously unreleased material. Mixtapes with G-Unit’s Spider Loc, renowned writer Problem, and Aftermath-signee Stat Quo will also come from the newly formed powerhouse team. DJ Felli Fel’s debut project “Go DJ” is set for an early 2008 release. A video for the nationwide hit single from the album, “Get Buck In Here,” will be released next week. You can purchase “Get Buck In Here” from iTunes by clicking here.
Nik has many more projects to put out. Solo mixtapes include “Sonically Correct” with Watts star Bangloose, Sillk Calone’s “By Way Of South Central,” and releases from Roscoe Umali and Yung Berg. Nik has also teamed up with Atlanta’s DJ Scream and “The Butcher” DJ Vlad for a mixtape with 2Five titled “Talk Is Cheap, I Plead The 5th.” The Bay Area will be excited when Nik drops Balance’s “Unsigned Legend” alongside the highly-respected DJ Rah2K as well.
With over ten mixtapes ready for release, Nik is giving the public many more reasons to call him “L.A.’s Mixtape King.” However, it won’t be long before the “Mixtape Hustler” steps into the retail album world. Nik has officially started to record material for his full-length debut album, tentatively titled “The Hustler’s Manual.” The project will feature an all-star lineup of West Coast acts and some very special surprise guests from other regions as well. Fans can be on the look out for the album in stores later this year.
Nik is also starting “Streetz Of L.A. Radio,” his weekly radio offering. The first episode will air on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Shade 45 channel in the beginning of February. In addition to all of these music projects, Nik is also putting together a new DVD magazine that will be released four times annually. “Street Certified” promises to give viewers a look at the inner-workings of the hip-hop world. Artists like Crooked I, Rick Ross, Mistah F.A.B., and Glasses Malone have already contributed to the first issue, which will arrive in stores next month.
DJ Nik Bean is starting 2008 off with a loud bang on the West Coast that will be heard across the nation. The three-month long mixtape blitz will simply solidify his spot as one of the hardest-working, and most prominent, mixtape DJs in the game."

1203997425 - January 1, 1970 By : And here it finally is! The man of the hour (or should I say year?) is getting closer and closer to the position where he needs to be on top of the game! As we previously reported, Glasses Malone shot a video for his hit single "Certified" featuring Akon last month, and this video will hopefully help him get to that next level! After dominating radio airwaves and even landing the number one spot on L.A.'s Power 106, the anticipation for the video was building up and it was only right that the West Coast showed tremendous support at the video shoot.
The outcome of the video is very pleasing, they kept it street and added a lot of dark and grimey elements, but innovative at the same time. The only downside is that a lot of the words have been edited out the final version, which takes away from the flow of the song.
The video has been shipped to MTV and BET, and it will air the first time on BET's Rap City on Thursday. But you already know that we ain't gonna let you wait for that long! As always, Dubcnn is taking care of it and bringing you the world premiere of the video. We'll let the visual speak, so let's get this one out there:
Glasses Malone - Certified Feat. Akon (YouTube, Windows Media and QuickTime Video)
The entire Dubcnn staff would like to congratulate Glasses on this great video. Be on the lookout for "The Beach Cruiser" dropping April 1st, it's gonna be crazy! Also, if you are interested in the "Certified" T-Shirts that you're going to see in the video, hit up glassesmalone.com to get you one of these.

As we reported a few times now, Bigg Steele is gearing up to release his major album "Cereal & Water" this spring, and not too long ago we brought you the track "War With No Mercy" featuring Glasses Malone to get you an early taste.
Today we're giving you another preview with the album's street single called "Get It". For the track's guest appearance, Steele took a trip to the South to link up with Birdman. They've recorded a few tracks together, one of them being a collabo featuring a bunch of other artists from the West and South. We'll bring you more information on that one very soon.
Back to "Get It", the song has already been getting good reviews within the industry. Producer 2much laced a banging beat, while Fingazz added a West Coast touch by playing the talkbox on the track.

1207389895 - January 1, 1970 By : Some of our readers may already be familiar with the artist Bullet, whether it be from MySpace or for those of us that read liner notes. His first mention came in the credits of the "Dyfunktional Family" soundtrack alongside Kurupt, Crooked I, Eastwood, Spider Loc, Gail Gotti, Danny Boy and the rest of the then Deathrow camp.
Since then Bullet has been working on music and has released albums back to back over the past two years.
In 2006 he released the independent record "Sounds Of The Bullet" which featured Danny Boy & Mark Sparks with production from Yak Money, Darren Vegas and Jim Gittum.
In 2007 he followed that up with "Str8 from the S.T.R.E.E.T.S." which came out via Thump/Universal and featured Danny Boy, Candyman187 and Trouble.
This year he has started work on his - as yet untitled - third album in three years. The new album, which will feature Glasses Malone, Kurupt, Petey Pablo, Crooked I and more is being readied for a fall release. Today we have the street single that Bullet has started pushing in the streets with copies available at the Compton, Lynwood and Slauson swapmeets. The track is called "U Don't Want War" and features Glasses Malone who is currently enjoying Radio and Video success with his Certified single.

The track is called "Vote 4 Me" and was produced by Sega, who's been the man behind most of the recent work you've heard from Quiz. "Glasses is basically the president of the New West, and he's bringing Blu Division with him. "Vote 4 Me" is to make it official, and to solidify the movement," Quiz said about the track.

1212945995 - January 1, 1970 By : It's that time again! Another weekend, another Weekend Audio update on dubcnn with the hottest records that slipped through the cracks throughout the week. This edition features a collaboration between Ill Bill and Raekwon The Chef, some new Ya Boy, Bosko on a track with Bloodraw and more.
I'd like to start it off with a new joint by one of the freshest West Coast MC's to come out in a long time, Blu. His collabo album with producer Exile had a lot of heads in the industry turning, and his "C.R.A.C." mixtape with Detroit's Ta'Raach only helped establish him as a MC to keep an eye on.
He's been feeding his fans new music through his MySpace page, and recently posted a track called "Departing Flights" which I urge all of you to check out. We've got it right here for you, click below:
Blu - Departing Flights
Next up is a potential album track for Ya Boy's anticipated "Holla At Ya Boy" LP which has suffered several push backs through out the last year. The song I'm talking about that recently leaked out is called "Money Over Here" and finds Ya Boy collaborating with up and coming producer FOC, who's also behind Glasses Malone's current smash "Haterz" with Lil Wayne and Birdman. To find out what it sounds like, check out "Money Over Here" below:
Ya Boy - Money Over Here (Prod. by FOC)
Let's get to a brand new heatrock from the La Coka Nostra camp. Non Phixion's Ill Bill has been doing the damn thing, besides working on the La Coka Nostra album, he's also wrapping up his solo CD/DVD called "The Hour Of Reprisal" which will be in stores August 26th. He hooked up with Wu-Tang own Raekwon The Chef on a track called "Coka Moshiach", which Ill Bill produced himself. I know you Hip-Hop heads are gonna be feeling this one:
Ill Bill - Coka Moshiach (ft. Raekwon The Chef)
Now we get to the posse cut of the week. We've been reporting on the Bay Area's Bash Bros for a while now and back in February we brought you their single "Rock The Spot" which then featured Little Brother's Big Pooh and Sean Price. They've put together an All-Star remix to the track, featuring Sean Price, Big Pooh, Rakaa (Dilated Peoples), Charlie 2Na, Reef, Verbal Kent, Motion Man and DJ Icewater. To find out what the result sounds like, click below:
Bash Bros - Rock The Spot (All-Star Remix)
The next track we have for you is something new from Super Producer Bosko. Bosko's known for his banging beats, but most of his fans love him for the talkbox effect, which not many, besides its creator Roger Troutman, can get down on like Bosko does. He just released his own remix to Usher's "Love In This Club", on which he performs the whole track with the talk box effect. Don't mistake the talk box for the autotune effect that T-Pain and many others use right now - big difference. He got CTE's Bloodraw to assist him on the track:
Bosko - Love In This Club (Remix) (ft. Bloodraw)
Last but not least, we have the official single off rising MC Donny Goines' solo album "Minutes After Midnight". The New York rapper has been grinding extra hard, flooding the sites and blogs with new music and information on a daily basis and the reviews he has been getting speak for themselves. His new single is produced by Dame Grease and it's called "I Am Moving". This is a smooth joint, perfect to relax and a proper introducting to Donny Goines. Check it out:

The Chicago/New Jersey duo released their debut album "School Was My Hustle" in 2006 through Rawkus Records, and later aligned with Duck Down Records to release their latest album "The In Crowd".
Some refer to their style as "hipster hip-hop", but you don't have to categorize them in order to dig their music. Incase you aren't familiar with Kidz In The Hall, we have just what you need to get introduced to them.
They just released a West Coast remix to their current single "Driving Down The Block", using the "Nuthin' But A G Thang" sample. They reached out to fresh Universal signees Pacific Division, Young Money's Tyga, Blu Division's Glasses Malone and the Prince of the Bay Mistah FAB to jump on the remix with them.
Shouts out to okayplayer.com for the exclusive, check out the "Driving Down The Block" West Coast remix:

1215608553 - January 1, 1970 By : Compton artist Problem really came a long way this year. He started the year as an unsigned artist with high hopes, and as we speak he has signed a record deal with Universal Republic, worked with Snoop Dogg on "Ego Trippin'" and has a blazing single "I'm Toe Up" with Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, DJ Quik & Terrace Martin buzzing throughout the world.
Not bad for the young rapper, who just last year built up his buzz with his tape "Deal Or No Deal", with Dow Jones. The aformentioned mixtape played a big role in him getting signed, so he's decided to drop the sequel to it.
Once again teaming up with West Coast DJ and go-to producer Dow Jones of Tha Bizness, Problem is now releasing "Deal Or No Deal 2: Universal Cut The Check" for free download on dubcnn.
The mixtape features over 20 banging tracks, on which Problem flexes his lyrical muscle and showcases why he got next. The production was handled by Terrace Martin, Dem Jointz and FOC amongst others, with guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, DJ Quik, Terrace Martin, Glasses Malone, Bangloose, Young Hootie, Mack 10 and many more.

1215986361 - January 1, 1970 By : The weekend is almost over, which means we're right on time for another edition of dubcnn's Weekend Audio, for the 11th time to be exact. We've plenty of hot new music, ranging from Akil of Jurassic 5, a Snoop Dogg collabo with a hot new R&B singer from the West, to producer Statik Selektah's new single and something from TJ Santana of the Young Hoggs, while going up to the Bay for a dose of Esinchill.
Let's get things going with somebody you haven't heard from in a long time, but Death Row Records fans will remember like it was yesterday: Swoop G.
Swoop G hit the scene with the Dogg Pound in the mid to late 90's and was supposed to be part of the second generation of Death Row artists to make it to the top. For obvious reasons, it did not happen and it seemed like Young Swoop had dissapeared for good. He's got a new single called "My Chuck Taylors" which features Glasses Malone and Kokane, as well as a new project coming soon, titled "C-Walkin' On The Moon". Check out "My Chuck Taylors" below:
Swoop G - My Chuck Taylors (ft. G. Malone & Kokane)
Let's switch over the R&B side of things for a minute. I want to introduce you to a young up and coming West Coast singer by the name of J. Blue, who recently inked a deal with Universal Motown. He's currently wrapping up his album "The Blue Book: From the Block to the Bed" and has landed a Snoop Dogg feature on his first single, "Hey". The club banger is sure to get the ladies going and promises a bright future for J. Blue. I was reminded of Chris Brown a bit when I first heard him, judge for yourself by checking out "Hey" below:
J. Blue - Hey (ft. Snoop Dogg)
Next up is something new from West Coast veteran Akil The MC, formerly of Jurassic 5. Akil has been quiet for a while, as he's been mapping out and putting together a big project that he likes to call Unified Los Angeles Skill District. The Unified Skill District consists of MC's, producers, beat makers, B-Boys/Girls, film, radio, graphic designers and all forms of entertainment business. He will be releasing a first CD with some of the talented MC's that he picked out for the project and we have a 8-minute track available with snippets of some of the tracks on there. Check it out below:
Akil - Unified Skill District (Snippets)
Let's go up to to the Bay Area real quick, to Oakland to be exact. You might remember Esinchill as an extended member of Digital Underground. He appeared on the "Who Got the Gravy?" album and later on released a slept on solo project. To me, he represents a side of the Bay Area that is often overlooked, a more conscious, deep side, far away from the Sydeshows and Hyphy crowds that the Bay is often stereotyped by. He's got a provocative track called "N-gga, B-tch, H-e" on which he talks about the effect those words cause, off his upcoming album coming later this year. Check it out below:
Esinchill - N-gga, B-tch, H-e
We gotta head out to the East Coast for the next track, and it's well worth it! Massachusetts producer/DJ Statik Selektah is getting ready to release the follow up to his debut album "Spell My Name Right" in September, titled "Stick 2 The Script". He once again has an insane lineup on the album and the first single sets the tone for the record. I'm talking about the title track, "To The Top (Stick 2 The Script)", for which Statik reached out to his main man Termanology, as well as Cassidy and Saigon. The result is lyrical slaughter, witness is below:
Statik Selektah - To The Top (Stick 2 The Script) (ft. Termanolgy, Saigon & Cassidy)
Last but not least is a new joint by Compton's own TJ Santana from the Young Hoggs. He's got a very creative new track called "Directions", throughout which he gives a female directions from the IE (Inland Empire) to Magic Johnson's Fridays in Inglewood, all in rap form. He reached out to fellow Young Hogg Killa Cane to jump on the track with him, which is set to appear on TJ's solo project "Therapy (The Truth Shall Set Me Free)" coming later on this year. Check out Directions" below:
TJ Santana - Directions (ft. Killa Cane)
We're done! Check back next week for more "Weekend Audio"!
